 Great to learn/practice new tricks onMay 28, 2010
I actually bought this for practicing new things on my aggressive skates and it's woked out great! I mostly use the rail but the ramp's okay too. The rail grinded pretty well even without wax (much better with it though). It's very sturdy and doesn't move on concrete/asphalt. The ramp is a little more flimsy and moves sometimes (that's why this didn't get 5 stars), but if you beef it up by adding some weight underneath and some rubber pads to keep it from moving then it works perfectly.

This ramp and rail set was a Christmas gift for my 8 year old son. He loves it!! And so do I. It is well built, durable, rail is low to the ground, and light enough to be easily moved from place to place. The only downfall is the ramp. It tends to slide a bit. The directions recommended drilling a hole and securing it to the surface. I'm not going to do that to my concrete sidewalks.
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. My son has already used it several times (even in the cold weather). I think he and his friends will get many hours of enjoyment out of this ramp and rail set. I would recommend this to others.

The rail is awesome!It is durable, lightweight, and doesn't slide while in use. However, the ramp is a piece of crap. It requires bolting and it slides when approached. It is a waste of money and a hazard to the safety of the user. Buy without the ramp.

My nine year old bought this with his own money, so I was a little concerned that he would have regrets. No worries. He loves it. He can use it in conjuction with his other ramp and is on it every day. Very worthwhile.
