Beautiful and EASY to applyAug 03, 2010
I couldn't believe how easy it was to apply. I thought with all the buttons, especially the keyboard, it would be at least somewhat difficult to apply. I was completely surprised when it was so easy that I had it finished in about 3 minutes. I have applied many skins and screen protectors to my iPods and cell phones and have always needed a lot more time and effort to get those on perfect. This skin went right on with no issues at all! Also it feels very sturdy, so I expect it to last a long time. And it looks great!
I did clean my Kindle with a lint-free rag and electronic spray cleaner before applying the skin, so I did not have any problems with dust underneath like some reviewers did. I sprayed 3M Anti-Static Electronic Equipment Cleaner onto a rag and thoroughly wiped off all the non-screen areas (I only use LCD cleaner on the screen).

The skin is just great -- it tones down the light cream color of the Kindle, which makes it much easier on the eyes (all Kindles should come in dark gray, never in cream). I loved this particular skin because I like Monet, but there are bazillions of choices. I had NO trouble putting the skin on. I don't know what would happen if I tried to take it off, but since I'm not planning on taking it off, I don't really care. Yes, you may get a little bubble here and there, which you can smooth out, or a tiny piece of lint may get between the Kindle and the skin while putting on the skin. Just pull it back gently and remove the bubble or lint. I found a couple of places where there was a tiny piece of lint that I missed during installation, but who cares? Highly recommend.

The quality of this product is top notch. It is so refreshing to get something which is not only attractive but well made. The skins are carefully cut and make application easy. Quite frankly, I was surprised that the whole operation only took several minutes. I now have a lovely new look to my Kindle! If you are looking to do the same, look no further. Use this company's product (no matter which design you pick) and you should be pleased with the results. I would definitely buy from them again.
