 Perfect for travel and campingJul 29, 2010
Very happy with the product. Nice size. Fits in my backpack when we are camping. Lighting is good. Middle mirror swivels up and down to allow perfect viewing.
 Mirror terribly distortedJul 25, 2010
The first one of these I purchased worked for years. Loved it. the second one was unusable. The magnifying side of the mirror was so distorted that it was impossible to use. The lighting is great, the side mirrors are helpful, but without the 5x magnifying side working properly, it is impossible for me to use.

Disappointing and Defective DesignJul 15, 2010
This product was such a disappointment. As soon as I received and opened it I noticed an immediate problem. As several other reviewers mentioned the lever that controls the light settings is very difficult to move. I couldn't even get the lever to move through all of the settings. It ended up popping off with very little effort applied.
The different light settings are also poorly designed. The two vertical lights on either side of the center mirror have colored plastic lining that spins around when the light setting lever is moved. Depending on the different settings a different color moves over the lights. It was terrible. None of the setting were appropriate and not conducive to applying makeup. Mine must have been damaged in the shipping as well, because the colored plastic in the right light was off kilter.
I would not recommend this product!!!

The mirror was fine but the whole unit takes a lot of space. It is heavy and non portable. I did not find the different settings for office light, home etc very useful.
