I was sure i wouldn't be able to put this on well; i almost didn't even bother buying it! Low and behold i did it and it actually looks so nice that people think i bought my kindle like that! There is absolutely no bubbling and you can peel it back and readjust to get it just right. The material is stretchy so it covers even the curves of the kindle perfectly.
Sure, it wouldn't do much in protecting your kindle from a big fall but it does protect it again scratches, dirt, and discoloration. The thing that i like most about it is the texture. It really makes the kindle easy to hold on to which in turn makes the kindle even more comfortable to read on. After using this product i definitely would not like to use my kindle without it! I am very, very pleased with the quality, ease of application, and functionality of this product and will buy a Gelaskin again when i feel like a change.
The image is beautiful, the colors are strong, and the quality is flawless.

Its a very pretty pattern don't get me wrong, but it was not very easy to put the front piece on and there wasn't a protection piece for the screen which was the main reason I bought it. I improvised with the plastic that came with the kindle since I had been using that and cut that to fit the area where the screen is located. Still that has tons of bubbles in it, but I hope at least this won't pick up the tons of black cat hairs from my cat that just the plastic film was doing. Still a little mad about this not having some sort of screen protection on it though. For the price, you'd think it would have it.

Ideal protection for the Kindle.Easy to put on, looks great. I plan to change them periodically as there are so many beautiful covers.

Oh I love my skin, it built character to my Kindle, I bought one with library books for my Kindle and then the Japanese blossom for my mother in-law. It is a bit challenging to put it on but it removes easy in case you need to realign. It protects my Kindle, I know right away it is mine, makes great gift to some one that is receiving a kindle. The skin stays on very well, no lifting on the corners, I have had it on now for 8 months and it still looks new.

It's nice to look at (almost distracting) it may protect from scratches, nicks and stains, but I would not count on it to deflect dings, bangs and bumps. It does not protect the screen or keep anything out of the keys/buttons. Overall it is a good product just not a necessity. It serves the purpose and it is fun to change things up.
