 Breaks down easilyJul 26, 2010
Dehumidifier works well... when it works. First one lasted 13 months, second one lasted 13 days. I would not think of buying a third one. Amazon customer service - 5 stars, easy and simple procedure to return.

I'm on my second set of these - I bought three to help dehumidify our apartment, and they work very well. Quiet and efficient, they do the job for me. If there's a fly in the ointment, it's that the power supply craps out after a year to two in service, and there's no replacement I could find. I could cobble up one, but it would cost more than replacing the unit. So, you wind up buying another. At the price, I guess you could call them disposable.

I bought this small dehumidifier to combat the sticky feeling I had in my bedroom. The temperature of the room was fine, but I always felt a bit clammy. The small size works fine to keep the room feeling more comfortable than before. I'm pleased with how it works so far. Haven't had any problems with it - it shuts off when the resevoir gets full & is easy to empty. It really is very small, but it works great. I recommend it for small rooms like nursery, bedroom, bathroom (though I imagine it would fill very quickly in a room that is frequently humid), closets.

Had this dehumidifier for almost a month. It takes a lot of moisture out of the air in the bathroom. We have a problem with dampness in the bathroom and this dehumidifier has helped a lot.

Had moisture problems in my safe. This has removed 16 oz. in two weeks.
That is a lot of water in a 50 cu.ft. safe.
The stuff inside is kinda expensive. I will buy a spare unit just on the chance I might need it.
