Kid's toyJul 07, 2010 Mine came quickly and in good shape.
When I use the focus, I can't tell if its working.
At 50 feet, this monocular becomes ineffective; I couldn't make out the letters on a license plate.
I did like the grip, it fit in my hand nicely.
Over, I feel this is just an expensive kid's toy
Waterproof?Jun 28, 2010 I bought this to take on my kayak. It's light and way smaller than the antique Army issue binoculars I have. It focused pretty well and I was able to get closer to wildlife. I dropped it in 2 feet of water the other day, for about a minute. After sitting in a bag of rice for several days, it will not focus. The eyepiece turns, but the lens does not change. The glue on the grip has also come loose. Not as waterproof as I had hoped. At least is was pretty cheap.
Limited scope...no pun intended.Jun 18, 2010 This scope feels solid and well-made. It doesn't have a "cheap" feel to it at all and is reminiscent of military-grade gear. But, that's not the problem. I can only get a clear image up to about 60 yards. After that, I can't seem to get the scope to focus well-enough to remove an annoying blur. It's as if the focus ring isn't able to rotate far enough...or the lens is cheap. If it wasn't for that, I would easily rate this nice little monocular five stars. That being said, it's just fine for viewing things under sixty yards away. Maybe I'm trying to use the scope out of its limitations. If so, then that's my fault.
It's a great little scope that is solid for viewing under sixty yards. Buy something else if you need to see clearly at a greater distance.

priced rightApr 12, 2010 I bought this so that we can look closer at different objects while on vacation. Taking the binoculars was too heavy and one one person can view at a time. Now, my wife has one and so do I. I wished I could afford a more expensive monocular, but for the money, the quality and weight is perfect.
It was delivered as promised.
BARSKA 10x25Apr 05, 2010 This is a nice monocular piece. It is light, but durable and I know it will serve me well and I am going to have only great experiences with it while I hike and travel with it. It also doesn't take up much room, which is a plus. I like Binoculars, but they take up so much room, this piece doesn't and it gives a nice clear image and it is easy to focus in on what you want to look at.
