 Great PurchaseAug 27, 2010
These spreaders are not knives for cutting with and are not supposed to be large. As spreaders, they are the correct size. They are stylish and are made from good quality materials. I especially like the seamless, one-piece construction (no separately attached handles with the potential to eventually loosen and/or fall off as I've experienced). These spreaders wash and polish well, looking especially nice placed next to my large glass covered cheese tray. These spreaders are nice enough to use for any occasion. I shopped around before buying and would purchase these again.

Sorry to say, these "spreaders" are not what we expected. We had hoped for standard size dinner knives; shaped just this way. These are tiny, though we can use them for cheese ball and such. This is the first bad review we have ever written for our many purchases. We hope to eventually find what We want. The discription could have been more clear. The size stated is wrong.

The spreaders are short and stubby handles, this maybe normal for spreaders. I was expecting longer handles. They still work well and look really nice for spreaders.

These little knives are simple yet elegant. My husband and I purchased these spreaders to go with our Henckels Vintage flateware and they compliment our flatware beautifully. The Amco spreaders are very small compared to the standard butter spreaders, but in my opinion they are perfect, and their small stature just adds to its charm.

I just love these butter spreaders/knives. I just set them on my individual bread plates and all my guests have their own spreaders instead of always looking for the one and only butter knife at the table.
It makes dinner more enjoyable. The size is just perfect and they are great to stick in the dishwasher.
